What is Microblading?
Microblading is a tattooing technique which uses a small handheld tool made of several tiny needles to add semi-permanent pigment to the skin. Microblading differs from standard eyebrow tattooing, a form of permanent makeup, as each hair stroke is created by hand with a blade that creates fine slices in the skin, whereas eyebrow tattoos are done with a tattoo machine. Microblading is used on eyebrows to create, enhance, or alter their appearance in shape and color. It deposits pigment into the upper region of the dermis.

What is Microshading?
Microshading is a semi-permanent cosmetic procedure designed to achieve fuller, darker, and more sculpted eyebrows. This method allows clients to choose a subtle or bold appearance based on their preferences. Often referred to as "powder brows" or "ombre brows," this technique involves a permanent makeup artist tattooing tiny dots on the skin. The spacing and density of these dots determine the perceived intensity of the color in the brows.

Before and After Care Instructions
Aftercare Instructions
DAY 1 Remove any excess lymph and blood to prevent scabbing. Wait 1-2 hours and let the wounds weep lymph. After 2 hours you must wipe off the lymph with a moistened cotton pad, then apply a thin layer of PMU gel with a clean cotton swab. Do this every hour on the hour until bed. At night wash the treated area with warm water and gentle cleanser like Cetaphil. Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows and/or applying the PMU gel.
DAY 2-9 Repeat wiping your brows at least 2 times a day. At night wash the treated area with warm water and gentle cleanser like Cetaphil. Wash your hands with a disinfectant soap before washing your eyebrows.
THE FOLLOWING MUST BE AVOIDED FOR THE FIRST 9 DAYS
•No scratching, picking, or rubbing the area.
•Do not apply excessive amount of ointment, too much can cause scabbing.
•Do not apply PMU gel to wet brows.
•Do not get your brows wet besides cleaning.
•Avoid steam from hot shower.
•Avoid sun exposure or tanning (for 2 weeks).
•Avoid swimming, sauna, jacuzzi, or hot bath.
•Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck.
•Smoking and drinking alcohol in excess, which may lead to slow healing.
•Sweating. It is recommended not to sweat for the first 10 days after the procedure. Sweat can prematurely fade the treated area.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT
The pigment will appear bold and dark immediately after the procedure. This is because the pigment has not yet settled in completely. The color of the pigment will fade 40-50%. Do not be alarmed if you see some pigment on the cotton swab, as this is excess pigment and/or lymph naturally exiting your skin Once the healing of the skin starts taking place, itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days. This might give you the impression that the color pigment is fading too quickly, however, this is just superficial color and dry skin being naturally removed from your eyebrows. Once completely healed, after 2 weeks, always apply SPF 30 up to SPF 50 on your eyebrows when exposed to the sun. Sun exposure might cause the color pigment to fade away quickly.
