PRX Pre and Post Care

Pre Care

  • Discontinue the use of products containing active ingredients (such as AHA's) if the user is tolerating them well.
  • Discontinue use of any products causing erythema (redness) must be discontinued 15 days prior to treatment, and can be resumed once the treatments are complete. 
  • Discontinue use of products containing AHA's, Retinols or Isotretinoin may increase your skins sensitivity to the sun and potentially the possibility of sunburns. The combination of AHA's or Retinol products with as application may increase the skin sensitivity even further. Use SPF and limit sun exposure one week prior to an application and throughout the treatment process.

Post Care

  • After the application your skin will look brighter, tighter, plumper and more rested. 
  • There can be mild flaking (this means the skin had dead skin cells to shed), and moderate redness. 
  • Sometimes patient's will notice sagging or creping post treatment. 
  • Swelling may occur, especially due to allergies. 
  • Both the flaking and redness can be relieved by applying the WiQo Moisturizing Face Cream for Dry Skin.
  • Immediately after and in the days following the application you will apply the WiQo Moisturizing Face Cream for Dry Skin to restore the hydrolipidic film. 
  • Avoid Saunas and Steam Baths for 48 hours post application.
  • Makeup may be applied immediately after the application.
  • Daily SPF use of 30 or higher is recommended.

General Treatment Guidelines

24 hours after the application you will apply the WiQo Facial Smoothing Fluid for all skin types, leave on at least 30min then wash off before applying any other products. This should be done daily.

If you perform a treatment on your body, from the day following the application you will apply the WiQo Moisturizing Body Cream for all skin types in the evening. Moisturizing Face cream is included in packages of 5.
